Welcome to Rainbow Day Nursery!
Opened September 2025, Rainbow Day Nursery is dedicated to giving every child the best start to their learning journey. Located in a welcoming and family-friendly setting, the nursery is designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. With space for up to 50 children per session, we offer free full-time nursery places, Monday to Friday, for children aged 2 to 4 years old. Our aim is to ensure that every child leaves us confident, enthusiastic, and ready to begin school with a love for learning.
We also provide an additional 15 hours of free early education per week for eligible children, offering families extra support and enriching learning opportunities.

Ofsted Rated
Rainbow Day Nursery is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
"Children develop the key skills needed to be ready for the next stage in their learning, such as moving on to school. Children, including the very youngest, become confident and sociable learners." — Ofsted 2017
Child-Centred Approach
We provide a friendly, safe, and stimulating environment where children can explore, discover, and learn through play. We encourage curiosity and confidence while linking enjoyment with early learning.
Qualified Team
Each child is assigned a dedicated key worker from our experienced and qualified team. They are responsible for daily observations, supporting your child’s development, communicating with parents, and maintaining a learning journal.
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
We follow the EYFS framework for children from birth to age 5, covering seven key learning areas: three prime areas (Personal, Social & Emotional Development, Communication & Language, Physical Development) and four specific areas (Understanding the World, Expressive Arts & Design, Literacy, and Mathematics). This ensures children are well-prepared for school while fostering independence, creativity, and a love of learning.
